1. Information that we collect and store
We only collect, store or use information that we consider necessary for the purpose of providing the best service possible to all of our customers.
You are free to browse the jobs placed on our site without providing any personal information to us.
In the event that you place a job online at yourworkman.co.uk, we collect and store the information (e.g. title, name, job description, city, postcode, email address, tel. number) you provide us. We collect and store all comments you leave about business members of yourworkman.co.uk site.
If you register for any of the Services as a tradesman and wish to quite for a job you will be asked to provide certain personal information, as well as business details, specific skills, working preferences, etc.
2. How we use this information
We check the accuracy of the business information that you provide on registration. We may use the contact information you provided to contact you via e-mail, telephone or post regarding your registration, or any other matter that we consider relevant to your use of our site. We may use any information we collect about you, to resolve disputes, provide customer support, troubleshoot problems and enforce our User Agreement and policies. The information provided by you is not available for sale or use by third parties. The information is used solely for notifying you of changes or updates to the Website/Services.
We forward details of a Job request to a limited number of suitable traders. If Traders agrees to quote on the job, then contact information will be exchanged between you and interested tradesman. You will be sent an email with his (his business) information, to the email address you provided whilst posting the job advert. In addition any ratings and comments from customers in relation to the jobs are available to see for all Members and non-Members at any stage in the Work process.
We may disclose your personal data if we are compelled to do so by law, or in response to a valid, legally compliant request by a law enforcement or governmental authority. We may also disclose aggregated demographic and profile data (in which neither you nor any other individual is identified) to our commercial and marketing partners.
3. User account, password and security
If a particular Service requires you to open an account you will be required to complete the registration process by providing certain information and registering a username and password for use with that Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the username and password and also for all activities which take place under your account. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorised use of your password or account or any other breach of security. In no event will www.yourworkman.co.uk be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage whatsoever resulting from the disclosure of your username and/or password. You may not use another person?s account at any time, without the express permission of the account holder.
4. Cookies
